To join Literary Guild Book Club, simply choose your introductory books at the Club website, then fill in your billing and shipping information and confirm your order. That's it. Club members receive a free catalog up to 19 times a year (about every three weeks). Each issue of the catalog presents the Featured Selections – books chosen by TLG's editors as the hottest reads of the moment – plus over 90 other books at up to 50% discount on retail prices. The catalog can be delivered to you in traditional paper format by postal mail, or you can opt to receive the electronic version via e-mail – look for Communication Preference tab at the signup.

To get the Featured Selection, don't do anything; it will be sent automatically unless you decline it by the designated date. The easiest way to do so -- or order another book -- is through your account on the Club's website. Alternatively, you can either contact TLG by phone or return your Reply Card via regular mail by the deadline date shown. You’ll always have at least 10 days to decide. A shipping and processing charge (and sales tax, if applicable) is added to each order.

After the inaugural order of 5 books for 99¢, you will be required to buy 4 more books at TLG's regular discounted prices and you can take up to one year to fulfill the obligation. Note that specially (read: very low) priced books don't count toward your purchase commitment.

Once your commitment is taken care of, you are free to cancel your membership at any time.
