Since you can only use one coupon at a time, it's important that you choose the right one in order to maximize your savings. For example, it makes sense to use the SAVE10AFFO (the EXTRA 10% OFF) coupon only on orders that are higher than $100 -- with anything lower than that you are better off taking advantage of either the SAVE10DOLLARS or SAVE5DOLLARS offer, depending of course on the amount you are spending.

The same coupon (BUY2AFFO) can also be useful if you buy 3 or more inexpensive books and your total order is below $15 -- this way you can save up to $5 on the free book. If you reside in Canada, however, you might be better off in this situation using the FREESHIPAFFO coupon -- the shipping rates for Canadian customers are a little higher so free shipping might save you more than a free lower priced book.
