As a member you will receive the free Club catalog up to 19 times a year (about every three weeks). Each issue of the catalog reviews the Featured Selections – books chosen by DLP editors as the must-reads of the moment – plus over 90 other books at savings of 30% off publishers' prices (or even more with sales and special editions). The catalog can be delivered to you in traditional paper format by postal mail, or you can opt to receive the electronic version via e-mail – look for Communication Preference tab at the signup.

To get the Featured Selection, do nothing; it will be sent automatically unless you decline it by the deadline date. To decline it or order another book, you can contact Doubleday Large Print via phone, reply through your account on the club's website or return your Reply Card via regular post by the deadline date shown. You’ll always have at least 10 days to decide. A shipping and processing charge (and sales tax, if applicable) is added to each order.

After the initial order of 4 books for 99¢, you will have the obligation to buy 4 more books at DLP's discounted prices and you can take up to one year to fulfill it. Note that Doubleday Large Print offers an opportunity to make a first Club purchase at the enrollment for just $5.99 -- it's a good opportunity to reduce your commitment to 3 books right away.

Once your commitment is taken care of, you are free to cancel your membership. Of course, you will always be welcome to rejoin if you wish to buy more books at a later date.
