To join Doubleday Book Club, simply pick your 6 introductory books at the club web site and fill in your billing and shipping information. No credit card is required if you choose to be billed later. As a member you will receive the Club Magazine up to 17 times a year, plus up to 2 special issues (about every three weeks). Each issue of the magazine reviews two Featured Selections – books chosen by DBC editors as the must-reads of the moment – plus over 180 other books at savings up to 60% off publishers' prices.

Featured Selections will be shipped to you automatically, unless you cancel or order other books instead. You can do so online – through your account on the club web site – or by returning the Member Reply Form via regular mail. You will always have at least 10 days to respond.

After the initial order of 6 books for 99¢, you will have the obligation to buy 4 more books at Doubleday's discounted club prices and you can take up to 2 years to fulfill it.

Once your commitment is taken care of, you are free to cancel your membership, which can easily be done by sending an e-mail to DBC customer service. Of course, you will always be welcome to rejoin if you wish to buy more books at a later date.
