How It Works
Becoming a Member
To join Children's Book of the Month, simply pick your 8 introductory books at the club web site and fill in your billing and shipping information. No credit card is required if you choose to be billed later. As a member you will receive the club's catalog up to 19 times a year (about every three weeks). Each issue of the catalog reviews a Featured Selection – book chosen by CBOMC's editorial panel as the must-read of the moment – plus over 100 other books at savings of 30% off publishers' prices (or more, with sales and special offers).
Featured Selections will be shipped to you automatically, unless you cancel or order other books instead. You can do so online – through your account on the club web site – or by returning the Member Reply Form via regular mail. You will always have at least 10 days to respond.
Your Commitment
After the initial order of 8 books for $2, you will have the obligation to buy 5 more books at CBOMC's discounted prices and you can take up to 2 years to fulfill it.
Canceling
Once your commitment is taken care of, you are free to cancel your membership, which can easily be done by sending an e-mail to the club's customer service. Of course, you will always be welcome to rejoin if you wish to buy more books at a later date.
