Black Expressions: How It Works
Becoming a Member
To join Black Expressions Book Club, simply select your 5 introductory books at the club web site and fill in your billing and shipping information. No credit card is necessary if you choose to be billed later. As a member you will receive the free Club Magazine up to 19 times a year (about every three weeks). Each issue of the magazine reviews two Main Selections – books chosen by Black Expressions' editors as the hottest reads of the moment – plus over 180 other books at savings up to 40% off publishers' prices.
Main Selections will be shipped to you automatically, unless you decline them or order other books instead. The easiest way to do so is through your account on the club web site. Alternatively, you can return the Member Reply Form (included with the magazine) via regular mail. You will always have at least 10 days to respond.
Your Commitment
After the initial order of 5 books for $2, you will have the obligation to buy 4 more books at the club's discounted prices and you can take up to 2 years to fulfill it.
Canceling
Once your commitment is taken care of, you are free to cancel your membership, which can easily be done by sending an e-mail to Black Expressions Book Club customer service. Of course, you will always be welcome to re-join if you wish to buy more books at a later date.
