To join Black Expressions Book Club, simply select your 4 introductory books at the club's website, then fill in your billing and shipping information and confirm your order. That's pretty much it. As a member you will receive the free Club catalog up to 19 times a year (about every three weeks). Each issue of the catalog reviews the Featured Selections – books chosen by Black Expressions' editors as the hottest reads of the moment – plus over 90 other titles at savings up to 40% off publishers' prices. The catalog can be delivered to you in traditional paper format by postal mail, or you can opt to receive the electronic version via e-mail – look for Communication Preference tab at the signup.

The Featured Selections will be shipped to you automatically, unless you decline them or order other books instead. The easiest way to do so is through your account on the club web site. Alternatively, you can return the Member Reply Form (included with the magazine) via regular mail or call by phone. You will always have at least 10 days to respond.

After the initial order of 4 books for $2, you will have the obligation to buy 4 more books at the club's discounted prices and you can take up to one year to fulfill it.
