Transfer your downloads to an mp3 player or another mobile device and listen anywhere, anytime.
How It Works
Getting Started

To start your Audible experience, first you need to create an account at the club's website – a quick and easy process. Then, download and install AudibleManager, free software that allows you to download audio programs to your computer and transfer them to your mobile player or burn to CD. And that's it. You're ready to roll.
Note: Macintosh users can download audio files directly into iTunes, so there's no need to install any additional software. Windows users who wish to use iTunes instead of AudibleManager will need to install a small application to get the same functionality.
Modus Operandi
Audible Platinum plan comes with a free 14-day trial offer, which means that even though you've created an Audible account and entered your personal and credit card information, you will not be charged until the trial period, which includes 2 free books, is over. If you decide Audible is not really for you, simply cancel your membership before your two weeks have expired and that's that.
Otherwise, at the end of the trial period you will be charged $22.95, and so again each month for as long as you wish to keep your membership. The monthly fee will buy you two credits; an audiobook credit is good for pretty much any digital audiobook or program from Audible's library, which in practice means that for the price of the monthly subscription you get to pick two audiobooks (or some other audio programs) of your choice.
Anything more than that – additional books, newspaper subscriptions – you will need to purchase separately. However, as a member you get a guaranteed 30% off regular price, or even up to 50% off with sales and special offers that will come your way regularly.
Canceling
You can cancel your membership any time, either online (through your Audible account), or over the phone. If you've agreed to join for a specific period of time, you have the option of fulfilling your financial obligation and end your membership early.
